Hi guys,
Its monsoon time and no better place to visit than Shivthar Ghal. Its just around 125km from Pune. So if you start at around 8 in the morning you will be in Pune at 5 in the eve.
Click here for the map to this place.
Its a simple road to go there,
From Chandani chowk take the highway towards Kolhapur, cross the toll plaza, travel further you will cross way to balaji temple to Ketkawale to your left. (there is a decent hotel at this spot, which serves good breakfast). Travel further ahead, where you will have to take a right turn to go to Bhor. (keep looking for petrol pump on your left for sign). Take the road towards Bhor, reach Bhor, enquire about road to Varandha Ghat. Its a very scenic road trip on Varandha Ghat in monsoon. You will have to cross the entire Varandha Ghat and while descending you will see a board for Shivthar Ghal on your left, you have to take a right turn at this point, travel appox. 6km to reach Shivthar Ghal. Its a bumpy ride so mind it!
Food not available, I mean there is but not that great.
Enjoy the trip.
